I copied the calligraphy from the Cemetery's Ledgers, picking a few of them both in the heyday of the cemetery and later. I was particularly taken with the letter z, frequent in the Greek Orthodox section. Here I read of two sisters, who died in 1941/2, around the time Edith Sitwell wrote the poem Still falls the Rain.
