This installation, made for the Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Bro Dinbych 2013, includes fragments from Llŷr Lewis' poem Tonnau, Waves, in English and Welsh. Llŷr is interviewed here about the poem.
extract from Tonnau
Ond â'r ewyn yn llyn llaeth
a'r heli dan reolaeth,
hithau'n glir am filltiroedd,
di-stŵr, mud, y storm a oedd,
yna, yng nghân gwylanod
mae rhyw ias, rhyw furmur od,
llonyddwch mwll, anniddig,
ennyd o wae hyd y wîg.
But with the foam as still as milk
and the brine under his control,
and his sight clear for miles and miles
and the former tempest muted,
then, in the song of seagulls
there is a chill, a strange murmuring,
a dull, stifling stillness,
a moment of woe over the waves.
